Re: LosPer's RSV4-R Review - First Impressions...

Just got my RSV4 used, 1400miles :). It's a unicorn with wings and has no place in the real world. Breaking 130 on PCH south of Halfmoon Bay CA feels like 75 and the road straightens itself out. If it was legal to marry a motor I would do it. That V4 is the best thing since I don't know what. Sadly, my bike is bound for the track never to see the street again. Thank God for the Tuono...

Re: LosPer's RSV4-R Review - First Impressions...

I'm debating between the RSV4 and the new Tuono.  I presently ride a DD750.  Bike would mostly be street, but at least once or twice a year (if not more) track day.  Street use is "frisky" and usually at least 100 miles.  My head says either stick with the DD, or go with the Tuono.  But I love the look of the RSV4, and having sat on one, the ergos seem not bad for my 6'3", 185lb frame.  So, my question is:  how is it for street-ish use, including how well it handles (including engine-wise) at slower speeds that are required to get to the funner places?
