Aprilia has been acknowledged as the maker of the best Sport Bike of year 2009 and the corresponding trophy was picked up by Max Biaggi, Leo Francesco Mercanti & Giampiero Sacchi this last weekend at Monza.

The award was given to the RSV-4 after readers from eleven European Magazines voted for their favourite Sports bike of the year. This prize is said to be the most desired by worldwide motorbike makers.

This trophy is a new one the add to the vitrines of a bike that already has several international awards: Last week the bike was also given the "Best Design 2009" by the italian "Motociclismo" magazine and in March, the RSV-4 was awarded "Bike of the year 2009" by 30000 readers of the german magazine "Motorrad".

The Master Superbike 2009 winner award further enhances an incredible 2009 for Aprilia.
