2010 Aprilia RSV4 R Review A less-expensive RSV4 is still impressive
Full throttle in third gear, knee down exiting the Senna curve, and once again I have to keep a sharp eye on the wet patches. The Metzeler Racetech rear tire spun up earlier at a speed of 100 mph, and whilst I don’t mind a bit of drifting, a relatively cold December day in Portugal is not the day to challenge the grip too much. So I’m a bit more cautious than I usually would be and the laptimes suffered.

2010 Aprilia RSV4 Factory | Superbike Review When I picked up the 2010 Aprilia RSV4 Factory motorcycle, my jaw literally dropped. Now, I've seen and ridden more than my share of high-end sport bikes from exotic sources, but the Aprilia RSV4 may top them all in breathtaking appearance. From the radial Brembos at the front to the twin-horn rear tail section, the 2010 RSV4 bristles with trick bits and provocative styling.

2010 Literbike Shootout: Aprilia RSV4 Factory vs. Ducati 1198S vs. KTM RC8R Phase 1: The All-Vee Battle! Another year, a bigger battle.
With BMW’s S1000RR and KTM’s updated and new-to-the-U.S. RC8R as an all-new model, the field of liter-ish superbikes expands considerably for 2010.
Apologies to MV Agusta for not counting the 2010 F4, but no one’s yet signed up to race it in a large-scale series – the KTM was the runner-up in the 2009 IDM (International German Superbike Championship). We sure wouldn’t mind a spin on the MV, though. (Hint, hint, MV Agusta.) |

2010 Aprilia RSV4 Factory Review Italian Vee-naissance Every couple of years or so a bike manufacturer will come up with a machine that rattles opponent’s cages and gets sportbike fans in a buying – or dreaming of buying – frenzy.
Remember the excitement over the first generation Yamaha R6 and R1? And just this year Yamaha got mouths salivating again with an all-new R1 and its MotoGP-derived cross-plane crank.
With icons such as the 916, the Monster line, and more recently the 1098 and 1198 superbikes, Ducati has a history of generating bike envy amongst enthusiast friends, while at the same time confounding competitors. |

2010 Aprilia RSV4R First Ride The term Race Replica is attached to nearly every motorcycle manufacturer’s latest liter-class sportbike. It’s a logical comparison, considering the similarities between the motorcycle you see in the showroom and their World Superbike racing brethren. But quite often in the conversion from racetrack to street, comprises have to be made – sometimes rather large ones. Italian motorcycle manufacturer Aprilia intends to change all that with the introduction of the 2010 Aprilia RSV4R. |

Aprilia RSV4 Factory versus 2009 Honda Fireblade After glimpses of brilliance on the bike's wet launch at Misano, Visordown has finally tested the new V4 Aprilia back-to-back with the best 1000cc sportsbike out there, Honda's CBR1000RR Fireblade

2009 Aprilia RSV4 Factory: MD First Ride Unless you were a majority shareholder in Microsoft AND knew a Honda or Ducati dealership owner on a first name basis, your chances of owning a super sports V4 during the last 25 years were close to nil. Think about it, since the demise of the Honda VF1000R of the mid-eighties, V4 race-replica ownership meant having enough greenbacks and stature to access nearly unobtainable RC30’s, RC45’s or, much, much later, the even rarer Ducati Desmosedici RR.

Aprilia's new RSV4 is the real deal Designed to win WSB first and be a road bike second, the RSV4 Factory shines at its launch at soggy Misano. Not even grey skies, rain and a sodden Misano race track can dampen MCN's excitement for Aprilia's new £14,999 RSV4 Factory. We've waited a long time to ride the dazzling new V4 superbike, which cost €25 million and 3.5 years to develop, but its been worth it We'll have to wait a bit longer to ride it in anger in the dry, but even in the wet it's clear this is shaping up to be one of the best superbikes ever built. There are five reasons why... Be aware, the link is to a issuu.com publications and can slow down your computer. |

2009 Aprilia RSV4 Factory Review The V4 dream bike from Aprilia It’s raining outside while I watch a recorded video at Aprilia’s press conference where Max Biaggi says ciao from the airport in Bologna. The previous two groups of moto-journalists had the extra privilege of riding with Rome’s great son while I had to settle for a video and Alex Hoffman. Suddenly I feel as if I didn’t pick the longest straw after all.

Aprilia plots V4 revolution Aprilia grants us exclusive access and reveals it is already planning an expansion of the V4 range - including a loony supermoto Aprilia's new RSV4 superbike marks the start of a new era of motorcycles from the italien firm that will see a naked V4 RSV4 Tuono next year and could include a 1200cc V4 super tourer and even an insane V4 supermoto. It's going to be a busy time for Aprilia as it gears up to bring 12 new bikes to showrooms within the next years, some using the V4 moto but others based around the existing 750cc V-twin, the 850 V-twin twist-and-go motor and a new 1200 cc V-twin. Hard to believe it's a WSB bike Aprilia's new RSV4 WSB racer looks more like a MotoGP machine. We look at the high tech spec. Aprilia took the WSB paddock by storm when they wheeled out their all-new RSV4 in Portugal to complete its first public test. It was one thing ogling at spy pictures of the bike when Max Biaggi rode it for the first time in Valentia last month, but it was another to see the incredibly high specification of the bike in the flesh. There's no mistaking Aprilia's intention of getting back to the top in WSB. Be aware, the link is to a issuu.com publications and can slow down your computer.
